NECO BECE Registration for Junior WAEC | The registration process for the NECO Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for Junior WAEC 2024/2025 has officially begun. Schools (centers) are required to register their candidates through the offline application before proceeding to log in. Below are the approved fees for the examination and other relevant details:
Registration Fee for 2024 BECE: N8,700.00 per candidate
Unviable Centre Fee: N12,500.00
Syllabus: N1,500.00 per copy
Late Registration Penalty: Additional N2,000.00 per candidate
BECE Re-sit Registration Fee: N3,000.00 per subject per candidate
Note: Stamp Duty, Service, and Remita charges apply.
The 2024 BECE registration involves both OFFLINE and ONLINE processes. Manual registration has been replaced with offline entries for candidates’ registration data.
NECO BECE Registration Eligibility: Principals/Commandants of schools should note that only candidates in their final year of Junior Secondary School (JSS 3) are eligible for registration. The 2024 NECO BECE is exclusively for school-based candidates in Nigeria and overseas. Schools and State Ministries of Education must ensure strict adherence to the eligibility condition.
